Welcome to the SARMAAN Data Platform (“Platform”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SARMAAN Dashboard, LC Application, and all associated tools developed for SARMAAN-specific purposes.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. User Roles and Access Levels
Access to the Platform is role-based and restricted as follows:
2.1 Super Admin
- Full system control and oversight
- User management (creation, modification, deactivation)
- Configuration of system settings and project environments
- Access to all datasets and system logs
2.2 Admin
- Management of project-specific data and users
- Oversight of data collection, validation workflows, and reporting
- Limited administrative privileges as assigned by the Super Admin
2.3 Data Validators
- Review, validate, and approve submitted data
- Flag inconsistencies, errors, or suspected falsification
- Ensure data quality and compliance with project standards
2.4 Public View Users
- Restricted, read-only access to approved and published data
- No rights to edit, download restricted datasets, or modify system content
3. Acceptable Use
Users agree to:
- Use the Platform strictly for authorized SARMAAN-related activities
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all submitted or reviewed data
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and sensitive data
- Comply with all applicable data protection and organizational policies
Users must NOT:
- Share login credentials or allow unauthorized access
- Manipulate, falsify, or misrepresent data
- Attempt to breach system security or exploit vulnerabilities
- Use the Platform for non-authorized or personal purposes
4. Data Governance and Confidentiality
- All data on the Platform is confidential and owned by the SARMAAN program and its partners
- Access is granted strictly based on role and necessity
- Unauthorized data extraction, sharing, or publication is prohibited
- The Platform employs access controls and monitoring to ensure data security and integrity
5. Data Quality and Accountability
- Data Validators and Admins are responsible for ensuring high data quality standards
- Any suspected data fraud, inconsistencies, or anomalies must be reported immediately
- All user activities may be logged and audited for accountability
6. System Availability and Updates
- The Platform supports near real-time data updates to enhance decision-making
- Scheduled maintenance and updates may occur with prior notice where possible
- The system administrators are not liable for temporary downtime or disruptions
7. Security
- Users must adhere to all security protocols implemented on the Platform
- Any suspected breach or unauthorized access must be reported immediately
- The Platform reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in security violations
8. Termination of Access
Access may be suspended or terminated if:
- A user violates these Terms
- Unauthorized or suspicious activity is detected
- The user no longer has a valid role within the SARMAAN project
9. Limitation of Liability
The SARMAAN Data Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The platform administrators are not liable for:
- Data loss due to user error
- Misinterpretation of data
- System downtime beyond reasonable control
10. Amendments
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
